On Friday, July 22, the Phillies are back from the MLB All-Star break and will kick off their three-game series against the Chicago Cubs at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at all the promotions and fun surrounding the games, as well as other ‘know before you go’ information.

1. The Phillies will host their 13th annual Italian Heritage Celebration during Friday’s 7:05 p.m. series opener.

· To help honor the Italian community, the event features a $6 discount off the regular price of tickets in select locations. Click here for this Theme Night ticket offer.

· Prior to entering the ballpark, stop by Citizens Bank Way to enjoy yard games (Jenga, Connect 4 and cornhole) sponsored by Pep Boys.

· Plus, Pass and Stow will feature performances by the Vivaci Italian Folk Dance Group from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. More pregame fun includes LifeBrand’s Oculus Home Run Derby, located inside the Third Base Plaza.

· Opera Philadelphia will perform Take Me Out to the Ballgame during the seventh inning.

2. On Saturday, July 23, the 6:05 p.m. game will feature pregame and postgame fun! Highlights include the Phillies Charities Inc. Summer Phlash Sale, grand opening of the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar, and the Jake Owen Postgame Concert presented by Jim Beam (field passes available)! Plus, outfielder Kyle Schwarber will join Budweiser Folds of Honor on-field in presenting an educational scholarship to the son of a military member, who will also be recognized in-game.

· Phillies Charities, Inc. will host a one day, Summer Phlash Sale at the First Base Plaza, selling autographed jerseys, baseballs, bats, and hats, with all proceeds benefiting charity. Many of these items are team issued or game used. The sale includes current and former players and managers such as Aaron Nola, Rhys Hoskins, Charlie Manuel and more! The event is part of the Phillies Summer of Giving presented by The GIANT Company.

· Also pregame at Pass and Stow, there will be a 360 photobooth, courtesy of Jim Beam. In addition, fans 21 and over will be able to sample Jim Beam ready-to-drink cocktails (while supplies last).

· Plus, it’s the grand opening of the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar in Ashburn Alley! Pregame festivities include celebrity bartending by 1983 NLCS MVP Gary “Sarge” Matthews, DJ HBK and giveaways.

· The game will also recognize Budweiser Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to military families of those who have been killed or disabled while on active duty. A portion of the gross proceeds of that night’s Phillies Charities, Inc. 50/50 drawing, presented by DraftKings, will benefit the Folds of Honor cause.

o Kyle Schwarber will join representatives from Folds of Honor, Anheuser-Busch and Penn Beer to present a $10,000 check to Folds of Honor. Representing Folds of Honor will be educational scholarship recipient Ethan Cross, a sophomore at University of Maryland College Park and an international business major with a minor in Japanese language and culture.

o Ethan and his father, MSgt Norman Cross, will have the honor of changing a base at the end of the third inning. MSgt Cross served 17 years in the United States Air Force as a special operations airborne linguist and served in multiple deployments and is a member of the Eastern PA/NJ Folds of Honor Chapter.

· Following the game, stay for the Jake Owen Postgame Concert presented by Jim Beam! Your game ticket is your concert ticket; no additional purchase is required. Fans can enhance their experience by purchasing a field pass to enjoy the concert from the infield. Also, Jake Owen merchandise will be available for sale at the First Base Plaza.

3. Fans 14 and under will receive a PECO Zack Wheeler Replica Jersey at Sunday’s 12:05 p.m. game. Plus, SportsRadio 94WIP morning show host Angelo Cataldi, who recently announced his retirement, will throw the ceremonial first pitch.

· Prior to the game, the Phillies will host a Strikeout the Stigma event presented by Kitay Law Offices, focused on bringing important conversations to the forefront about the value of healthy life habits, supporting those around us, and removing the negative connotation surrounding mental health. The session will focus on the ‘Relationship Between Diet and Mental Health’ and include panelists Dr. Tracy Oliver, PhD, RDN, LDN Associate Professor from Villanova University, Scott Prendergast of Minding Your Mind, dietician Shannon Shultz from The GIANT Company, and Phillies Ambassador Scott Palmer, who will moderate the session.
